Power County Hospital District's Business Office handles all the claims processing for all District services, including the Hospital, Clinic, Nursing Home, and Outpatient procedures.
We strive to process your claims as accurately and quickly as possible. Our staff is happy to help answer questions. We also encourage you to contact our office, as soon as possible, to resolve any errors or questions found on your statements and monthly bills.Be sure to review your statements and insurance EOB's (Explanation of Benefits) to check for accuracy of claims. Contact us immediately if you have an error or questions.
We also may be able to assist you with any financial assistance programs available or setup individual payment arrangements, if necessary. Please contact our Patient Account Representatives, at 208-226-3200, to find out more information or answer any of your questions.
Power County Hospital serves all patients regardless of inability to pay or participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP Programs. A Sliding Fee Scale (SFS) discount for emergency and ancillary services; non-emergency lab and x-ray services; and clinic services may be available. Eligibility for the SFS discount depends solely upon family size and income. The SFS discount is applied in a non-discriminatory, equitable, and uniform manner. You may apply for the discount program at the Clinic, Hospital Admission's Office or Front Business Office. (Applying for the discount does not guarantee eligibility.)

Power County Medical Records office can help you with getting copies of your medical records for services received at Power County Hospital, Power County Physical Therapy, or Skilled Nursing Facility.
To obtain a copy of your records, please print and complete the Authorization Form below and return it to the hospital: ATTN Medical Records for processing.
